BENEFICIARY

The SCAR Project Cincinnati exhibition will benefit The Pink Ribbon Girls. A summary about them and what they do:

Pink Ribbon Girls Are young breast cancer survivors, who are encouraged by their shared experiences, to educate & inspire others to grow & live beyond breast cancer.
 
Our mission is educate, continue to raise awareness and provide support.  We want to make sure no one travels this road alone.
 
We offer an online searchable survivor database to connection of support with someone who has a similar diagnoses, age, or shared experience.
 
We want to be the hug you receive when you are diagnosed with breast cancer.  We want to help the survivor with the here and now to help you through treatments.  We provide meals, housekeeping services, assistance with transportation.  We send flowers to brighten the day.
 
We are active in the community – trying to reach young women at the local high schools,  colleges and university to promote breast health awareness.
